Fabrication Coordinator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to04:30pm )
• Decide which fabrication location will receive which fabrication jobs
• Oversee all pipe inventory based on need, location, and timing
• Forecast pipe types and quantities for the shop and place orders
• Assist the other operating divisions and branch offices with questions
• Conduct monthly fab shop meetings
• Communicate with Design Managers and Designers in fire protection
• Responsible for all communication regarding pipe inventory
• Enter work order data into system
• Organize and send orders to the production floor
• Maintain a filing system of orders
• Continual effort to improve efficiencies
Fabrication Coordinator Qualifications:
• Background experience in construction office and administrative duties along with customer service
• A thorough understanding of each pre-fabrication scope and materials needed to complete each order
• Able to interpret design drawings preferable
• Computer skills; including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Possess a willingness to learn and ability to work well with others
• Good written, phone skills, and oral communication skills are essential
