Tech Support Specialist
Description

Elwood Staffing, one of the fastest growing privately held staffing firms in the US, is seeking a full-time Tech Support Specialist.  The successful candidate will be service driven, organized and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and have a high level of self-motivation.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide information services technical support
  • Network administrative functions; computer and user account management, administer operating system patches & software upgrades, virus and software protection, troubleshoot and correct user errors, setup new user workstations
  • Hardware configuration and repair
  • Troubleshoot telephone service and data communications service issues
  • Helpdesk services; telephone and in-person support for PC, OS, and networking issues
  • Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent years of experience and training
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems under stressful circumstances
  • Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with diverse user groups at all levels and with outside vendor contacts
  • Occasional travel to local branches as needed
