Essential Functions as a Technology Support Specialist:

  • Provide information services technical support
  • Network administrative functions; computer and user account management, administer operating system patches and software upgrades, virus and software protection, troubleshoot and correct user errors, setup new user workstations.
  • Hardware, configuration, and repair
  • Troubleshoot telephone service and data communications service issues
  • Helpdesk services; telephone and in-person support for PC, OS and networking issues
  • Provide superior customer service in all aspects of the job

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent years of experience and training
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems under stressful circumstances
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with diverse user groups at all levels and with outside vendor contacts
  • Occasional travel to local branches as needed
