Medical, Vision, and Dental Coverage
Through Essential StaffCARE, we offer our temporary associates a variety of health options, as well as vision and dental plans. Associates can choose from a Fixed Indemnity Medical Plan, an Affordable Care Act (ACA) qualified Minimum Essential Coverage Plan for preventive coverage, a Major Medical Affordable Minimum Value Plan (ACA Bronze Level), and dental and vision plans.
Safe Harbor 401(k)
Once eligibility requirements are met, Elwood associates may participate in the Elwood Staffing 401(k) retirement plan with safe harbor matching contribution.
Life and Disability Insurance
Temporary associates may choose to elect term life insurance and short-term disability insurance.
Telemedicine
Temporary associates who enroll in the Fixed Indemnity Medical Plan have access to Teladoc, a supplementary telemedicine plan. Teladoc offers access to a licensed physician 24/7/365 for phone and web visits. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period.
Accident Insurance
Associates may choose to elect an accident insurance policy that provides coverage to help pay for out-of-pocket expenses associated with an accident.

Tuition Discount
Elwood Staffing has formed a partnership with Olivet Nazarene University that makes associates eligible for a 20% tuition discount and reduced application fees.

Convenient Payroll Options
Associates are paid on a weekly basis, and payroll can be directly deposited into an associate's bank account. For convenience, we also offer a debit card payment option.
