Medical, Vision, and Dental Coverage

Through Essential StaffCARE, we offer our temporary associates a variety of health, vision, dental, and Rx options. Associates can choose from three levels of Fixed Indemnity Medical Plans, an Affordable Care Act (ACA) qualified Minimum Essential Coverage Plan for preventive coverage, a Major Medical Affordable Minimum Value Plan (ACA Bronze Level), and dental and vision plans. For all plans except the ACA Bronze Plan, all associates are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period. Once an associate has been determined to be full time, he or she is eligible for the ACA Bronze Plan within the time periods required by the ACA.

Life and Disability Insurance

Temporary associates may choose to elect term life insurance through Essential StaffCARE and short-term disability insurance through Allstate. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period.

Telehealth

Temporary associates may choose to elect the supplementary Telehealth plan offered through HealthiestYou. The Telehealth plan offers access to a licensed physician 24/7 for phone and web visits. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period.

Accident Insurance

Our Essential StaffCARE plan also offers an accident insurance policy that provides 24-hour coverage to help pay for out-of-pocket expenses associated with an accident. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period.

Auto and Home Insurance

Through MetLife Auto & Home, Elwood associates can enjoy group discount rates on insurance policies for auto, home, rental, recreational vehicles, fire, and more. Premiums are direct-billed (not payroll deducted).

Holiday Pay & Additional Perks

Elwood associates can earn holiday pay, have access to online training and skills enhancement programs, and enjoy recognition and exclusive discount programs.

Tuition Discount

Convenient Payroll Options

Associates are paid on a weekly basis. There's never a waiting period, and payroll can be directly deposited into an associate's bank account. For employee convenience, we also offer a debit card payment option.
