Industrial Maintenance Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
JOB FUNCTIONS: * Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.* Basic troubleshooting skills Must be able to work on different mechanical systems using correct tools and PPE.* Must be able to work methodically and quickly under pressure to quickly assess equipment failures determining the root cause of the failure and making effective repairs.* Must be capable of prioritizing jobs and making critical decisions to assist in eliminating excessive downtime.* Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as required, and understand the Job Safety Analysis for assigned position. * Understands and follows lockout – tagout procedures related to assigned equipment. * Must be able to work under pressure to assess equipment failures determining the root cause of the failure and making effective repairs. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Industrial Maintenance Tech Qualifications:
SPECIFIC SKILLS: * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. * 5 years of experience in related field. * Ability to self-direct activities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to implement solutions while working under pressure. Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management. * Ability to use technology to solve business problems.
