Logistics Specialist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Sunday throughSaturday from 08:00pm to08:00am )
• Second Shift (Sunday through Wednesday from 08:00pm to 08:00am)
• Work Within the framework of the dispatch operation to augment with current dispatch staff to track and communicate with common carriers to ensure prompt check calls.
• Track and report trailers that do not have functioning tracking equipment units to EHS so that the units can be updated and made to work in the system properly on a timely basis.
• Work with the Produce Pro system to load Bill of Ladings, scan loading sheets, allocate products, enter trailer numbers and complete proper check-in/ check-out steps.
Logistics Specialist Qualifications:
• Basic computer skills
• Truck and trailer knowledge preferred
• Understanding if the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and copy of regulations
• Ability to read written instructions and understand verbal communication skills by phone and email
• Ability to work independently relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks.
