I am looking for a Project Estimator in the Brandon, MS area - preferably with a background in millwork and commercial construction projects!

Estimator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
62,400.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
Prepares estimates for quotes and bids of potential projects in an accurate and timely manner within the company's guidelines and procedures. Ensures proper use of gross profit margins, overhead rates and net profit margin goals in the estimating process.
- Estimate project quotes in a timely manner in order to win profitable bids
- Estimate the correct cost of producing each job (mark-ups and overheads included)
- Interacts with customers, vendors, and suppliers regularly, including take-offs and quotes from vendors, and with the internal purchasing agent
- Completes all quotes and bids within company guidelines
- Ensures proper use of gross profit margins, overhead rates and profit goals in all estimates
Estimator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience as a project estimator
- Must be familiar estimating processes in architectural woodworking and general contracting
- Ability and experience needed to estimate complex and large projects that may exceed $1M
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints and technical specifications
- Ability to use computer systems and specialized software related to job costing and estimating
- Strong organizational skills along with strong communication skills
