Mechanical Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to06:00pm )
- With supervision, responsible for assembling mechanical or manufactured equipment per specifications on equipment drawings.
- Operate stationary/moving overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, power tools, and large hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plans for assembly or building operations.
- Will be trained to work on hydraulic systems, wellhead equipment, and frac equipment.
- Test or assist in testing completed product operation.
Mechanical Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Must have experience using hand tools safely. Able to operate power tools and large hand tools.
- Capable of recording assembly serial numbers for traceability.
- Must be able to read schematics and build assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Should know how to read a tape measure and use power tools like drills and grinders.
- Forklift/crane operation preferred but not required.
- Must be able to communicate and write in English.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
