Project Manager/Estimator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of construction systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Project Manager/Estimator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 80,000.00 / annually Salaried
- Work will be performed in the office most of the time. Occasional trips to job sites and meetings will be required. Travel to conferences, meetings, and overnight may be occasionally required.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Understand the scope of work to bid.
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors.
- Develop project plans.
- Review and assess cost estimates.
- Prepare very detailed cost estimates reports.
- Conduct regular risk assessments.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
- Develop and implement transfer procedures for passing off complex projects to other members of the project management team that provides for a smooth and seamless transition for the customers or clients.
- Responsible for assisting in developing manpower requirements for the projects being estimated.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Company policies, procedures and safety rules are being followed at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Project Manager/Estimator Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree in Construction Management or related field
- 3+ years of construction experience
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work. Must be accurate with all work, including computer data entry.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations as required for preparation of reports. Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
- 5+ years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager in the construction industry
