Structural Engineer Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $114,753.00 to $200,782.40 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Continuously maintains company management’s safety, cultural, and professional standards.
  • Promotes, encourages, and reinforces a positive safety culture, safe practices, and a safe work environment to all employees.
  • Create and evaluate structural systems for a range of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, tanks, and other structures, with a focus on composite materials.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to determine project requirements and constraints.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure safety and adherence to building codes.
  • Conduct finite element analysis using appropriate software to analyze structural components.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to designs and specifications.
  • Conduct structural assessments and inspections of existing buildings and infrastructure, work with QA:QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) process control teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Structural Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Must possess a PE (Professional Engineering) license.
  • Minimum of four years experience in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS), and finite element analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of materials, codes, and construction methods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to use sound judgement and follow through in problem solving and decision-making processes.
  • Must be willing and able to travel if/when business need requires it. Must be able to comply with current travel regulations and guidelines of airlines and destination locations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, current insurance on personal vehicle if used for business, and meet company insurability requirements.
