CNC Programmer
CNC Programmer needed for Shelbyville manufacturer! Prefer 3-5 years of programming experience.

CNC Programmer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
65,000.00 to $ 75,000.00 / annually Salaried
- Design tooling that meets customer specifications and produces a blueprint part.
- Maintain digital/electronic data.
- CNC programming
- Obtain quotes from vendors and assist Supply Chain on selection and management of selected supplier.
- Support manufacturing and other departments as an internal customer.
- Perform cost analysis and tradeoff improvement studies.
- Create tool models, drawings, and detail drawings.
- Generate tooling work orders.
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
- Consults customer specification documents to develop operations routing for all manufactured products.
CNC Programmer Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering; and/or related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Up to Three years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong CAD/CAE skills; Catia, Vericut or Caps preferred
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience preferred
- Knowledge of aerospace company specifications and practices
- Technical writing skills preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
