Material Handler
Material Handler needed in Jackson on 1st shift. Starting pay $15.00-$17.00/hr based on experience.

Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm & Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
- Receiving 12’ steel bars from inbound Truck to stock locations and machine per job as required using OVERHEAD CRANE.
- Properly stocking material with inventory tags from stock and at machines.
- Label steel with Inventory tags.
- Operating Inter-Source Chip Spinning Machine for Spinning chip shavings.
- Empty Trash in factory as needed.
- Janitorial duties as requested. Using floor scrubber, mops, and broom.
- Seasonal- Keeping the sidewalks and dock area solved and salted.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Must have Forklift, Pallet Jack and Overhead Crane experience.
- Math skills: use of measuring devices (Tape Measure and calipers) recognize fractions and decimals for sizing of steel bars.
- Building Maintenance Skills
- Will be lifting 40lbs occasionally.
