Electrical Engineer
The position provides the skills and knowledge that produce firm output. Designs, manages, and documents the various project components and systems related to MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) and Technology assignments.

Electrical Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 120,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Plan development throughout the life of a project (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration).
- Provide reports such as facility condition assessments, feasibility, energy use, etc.
- Create plans, details, and sketches in AutoCAD and/or Revit or provide markups for execution by drafting department
- Research equipment selections to determine design requirements.
- Convert product data to design information.
- Development of project specification documents.
- Apply applicable codes for project-specific requirements.
- Perform computer simulations for electrical design (photometrics, fault current, etc.).
- Attend meetings and assist with creation of meeting agendas.
- Perform site visits and documentation of observed conditions.
- Coordinate with staff to determine priorities and schedule tasks accordingly.
- May provide other technical, management, and company tasks and input as needed for project, and the firm's success.
- Provide Engineering / Management to maintain consistent project information flow to individuals assigned to the project.
- Communicate with client and interdisciplinary teams under the direction of the Engineer or Record and/or Project Manager.
- Provide Engineer of Record service if applicant is a licensed professional engineer
Electrical Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors in engineering required
- 2+ year(s) of MEP commercial consulting firm experience preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC) and Oregon Building Code is a plus.
- PE and non PE licensed applicants will be considered.
