Description
CNC Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program parts directly at the machine and using CAD software. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to perform 1st article and spot inspections.

CNC Programmer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
54,080.00 to $ 79,040.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:00pm )
- Write and modify CNC programs for machining parts based on blueprints, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) models, or specifications.
- Design efficient tool paths to reduce waste and machining time while maintaining precision.
- Choose the appropriate cutting tools, materials, and machine settings for each job.
- Configure CNC machines, including setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Perform test runs of programs to verify they produce parts to the required specifications.
- Adjust programs or machine settings to resolve errors or improve performance.
CNC Programmer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in related field is a plus.
- Job requirements are as follows but not limited to, program parts at the machine and capable of programming.
- Be able to use micrometers, calipers, tape measure and other form of measuring devices to check 1st article and spot inspections.
- 3-5 to years experience is a must.
- CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as MasterCAM, SolidCAM, or Fusion 360.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Mathematical Aptitude Understanding materials (metals, plastics, composites).
- Familiarity with various CNC machines (milling, lathes, grinders).
- Understanding cutting tools and fixtures for efficient machine setup.
