Billing Specailist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepares, reviews, and sends claims to various Insurance Companies, Medicare, and Medicaid plans either electronically or by paper in the mail.
- Maintains patient records to work with other staff, insurance companies, and/or patients to collect reimbursement for services rendered.
- Creating monthly patient statements, checking for accuracy, stamping, attaching letters, folding, stuffing, and mailing.
Billing Specailist Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical billing principles preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- High attention to detail
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge
- Data Entry & Typing Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
