Shipping and Receiving

Shipping and Receiving Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.75 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 03:30pm)

• Receiving and unloading freight, either manually or with equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Verifying the quantity and quality of orders, and comparing shipment contents to records
• Preparing items for shipment, including preparing documents like work orders and bills of lading
• Storing and distributing deliveries, and restocking items as needed
• Maintaining inventory records, and organizing inventory for easy retrieval 
• Communicating with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products 
• Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments 
• Documenting damages to inventory
• Following safety, organizational, and housekeeping responsibilities
• Shipping and receiving jobs can involve physical activity, such as crouching, crawling, climbing, lifting, and moving items over 50 pounds.
• The work environment may also include odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, and airborne particles.
