Material Specialist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
- Processes and maintains work order statuses
- Builds material kits for Production
- Performs material receipt transactions and reconciliation adjustments with accounts payable or purchasing and stockroom material issuance against work orders
- Executes and resolves cycle count variances and investigates and determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages
- Acts in cross functional roles which may include expediting, PC/IC clerk material handlers, shipping and receiving, cycle counting and stock room functions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Material Specialist Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows XP, Outlook)
- Ability to apply mathematical principals to solve complex problems, analyze date, and make informed decisions
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
