Material Specialist Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $17.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm)
  • Processes and maintains work order statuses
  • Builds material kits for Production
  • Performs material receipt transactions and reconciliation adjustments with accounts payable or purchasing and stockroom material issuance against work orders
  • Executes and resolves cycle count variances and investigates and determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages
  • Acts in cross functional roles which may include expediting, PC/IC clerk material handlers, shipping and receiving, cycle counting and stock room functions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Material Specialist Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows XP, Outlook)
  • Ability to apply mathematical principals to solve complex problems, analyze date, and make informed decisions
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
