Manual Machinist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Set up and operate manual metal lathes, vertical/horizontal milling machines, and grinders to repair, rebuild, or create a new component or part.
- Measure, cut, drill, and shape metal and other materials to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Inspect and test completed parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, materials, and tools is required
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) is required
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing or repair environment, trade school, or technical training is highly preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
