General Labor Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
Duties:
- Responsible for moving Cultured Marble products (vanity tops, shower floors, tubs, ¾ material) from station to station within the shop and then to carts and racks outside for shipping
- Clean wax off vanity top around the bowl. Check product for defects before shipping. If a defect is found, refer the product to the Quality Control Inspector for repairs
- Measure all product to ensure the dimensions match those on the pour sheets
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment
- Daily contact with department supervisors and managers
- Daily contact with employees at all locations
- Perform other job-related functions as directed by manager or supervisor of the Cultured Marble Shop or General Manager
General Labor Qualifications:
- Ability to lift products weighing 30 to 100 pounds throughout the entire shift
- Basic math skills (includes adding, subtracting and dividing fractions and decimals)
- Must be able to move and/or lift heavy product on a regular basis on and off work area benches. Occasionally pulling carts
- Ability to be detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work without close supervision and be self-motivated
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work five days per week and occasional weekends as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
