Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

We're looking for someone that is confident, reliable, teachable and self-motivated to fill our Project Engineer position. This position is with one of our local cabinet manufactures.

Project Designer Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$17.00 to $19.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm)

Assist project managers in designing projects utilizing computers; including Microsoft Office, experience in AutoCAD preferred; but not required, and Microvellum. General working knowledge of the construction/woodworking/manufacturing industry and/or have production/construction experience.

Project Designer Qualifications:

• Confidence

• Reliable & punctual

• Superb organizational and time management skills

• Great communication skills (verbal and written) • Self-motivated

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• The ability to work with a team and individually
