A local manufacturing company is looking for a self motivated Temporary Accountant to join their team!

Temporary Accountant Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Execute daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities to ensure timely workflow and recording of all financial transactions
- Perform activities related to the monthly closing process. Responsibilities include running reports, preparing journal entries, preparing accruals, account reconciliations, creating standard work and improving the accuracy and timeliness of the close process
- Extract, review, analyze and compile information from a variety of financial and non-financial systems
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls covering broad areas including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.)
Temporary Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline required
- Minimum two years experience in a finance or accounting at a manufacturing company and /or public accounting
- Fundamental understanding of accounting concepts including the interrelation of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, HFM consolidation tools
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
