Greenhouse Associate
This role will also adhere to and promote local compliance and quality efforts.
Perform on and off-station field and greenhouse trialing support and organization activities including but not limited to planting, gathering relevant data, tissue sampling, pollinating, harvesting, seed request fulfillment, and processing seed.

Greenhouse Associate Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Participate in greenhouse planting, sampling, sample lyophilization and shipment, monitoring plant growth/health, pest control, pollination, harvest and drying, and seed processing operations, while ensuring seamless track and trace and minimizing errors
- Perform all tasks in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety and stewardship related company policies and practices, including completing all required training courses and wearing proper PPE at all times
- Regular and timely communication with supervisors, and reporting any issues immediately
- Other tasks as assigned
Greenhouse Associate Qualifications:
- BS/BA in agronomy, horticulture, plant science or an agricultural related field preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Ability to use MS Office tools, especially Word and Excel, and other standard office software.
- Physical demands of the essential functions: Capable of working in high or low temperature conditions in a field, greenhouse, warehouse and walk-in cooler. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Capable of working long hours during time-critical periods of the research cycle. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
