West Unity, Ohio company looking for a maintenance technician to train on first and go to third shift.

Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 12:00am to08:00am )
- Train on first (8 am to 4 pm) and move to third shift (12 am to 8 am)
- Ensure all equipment, building and plant operations are SAFE and in good working condition
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS).
- Demonstrate skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Must have high school education or equivalent.
- Must have completed vocational school Industrial Maintenance program or have two years (minimum) work experience in the field of Industrial Maintenance.
- Ability to operate a fork truck and articulate boom.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, people management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, speak and write English efficiently preferred.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Preferred if skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Self-motivator.
