Wood Lab Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
- 6 month assignment
- Operation of Saws, Planer, and drills.
- Cutting Lumber, Veneer, and test specimens.
- Test specimens and accurately record data.
- Prepare sample specimens for application testing.
- Conditioning of Lumber.
- Use of Hand tools - Wrenches, Sockets and Tape Measure.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Knowledge and use of necessary MSDS’s.
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair of lab equipment.
Wood Lab Technician Qualifications:
- Experience in a lab environment an asset
- Aptitude in mathematics
- Basic Software Knowledge
- Use of site PPE, safe work practices
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
