Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
Establish a Safety-First team environment with all team associates, including proper use of PPE. Demonstrate a culture of 5S awareness, team wide, to maintain organization and cleanliness. Receiving of Raw materials from vendors/delivery technicians. Receipt of goods/Material transactions. Move material, equipment, or supplies from docks and storage areas to production areas for processing, stack parts, shake out parts, sort material. Clearly identify material, attach identifying tags to materials or containers. Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments. Record number of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Stage material in correct areas for processing orders. Controlling machines, using control mechanisms, or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes. Record operation or production data. Operation of vehicles, mechanized devices or equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, passenger vehicles, cranes, hoists, so a valid driver’s license is required. Maintain a clean safe workspace, make sure material is appropriately stored, staged, or labeled.
Material Handler Qualifications:
Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate our Machines. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans. Basic computer and math skills Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work with tight tolerances Problem solving and analytical skills Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation High school diploma or equivalent required
