Accountant Details:
Direct Hire position- $
60,000.00 to $ 110,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for subsidiary companies and the holding company to ensure timely, accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Record, reconcile, and eliminate intercompany transactions across multiple entities
- Maintain accurate loan balances, accounts payable, and receivable across entities
- Lead or support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and maintain integrity of general ledger
- Provide documentation and support for external audits and internal reviews
- Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and key financial metrics
- Support labor reporting and payroll functions
- Evaluate cost and profitability of materials, labor, and operational expenses
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes, procedures, and systems
- Review contracts and orders for accounting accuracy and compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations
- Help maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation
- Ability to present financial information and lead related meetings
Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting practices and consolidated financial statements
- Experience with elimination entries
- Tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word required); ERP experience (Visual or similar) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
