Elwood Staffing is looking for Inspectors to stat RIGHT AWAY in Lansing, MI. This will be a 2nd shift role, but training on 1st shift for up to 8 weeks.

Inspector Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Review work order documentation including Router and IMS for completion
- Inspect part characteristics using basic hand gages as required.
- Make copies to support shipping documentation of material and processing certs along with evidence of special processing as required by customer.
- Mark product according to instructions.
- Create and update internal nonconformance records as needed.
Inspector Qualifications:
- 2 years’ minimum quality and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Understanding of basic engineering print principals.
- Experience with basic hand gaging (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) preferred.
- Must be able to pass a required annual vision test.
- Organizational multi-tasking skills.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
