Quality Assurance


This position is responsible for ensuring that all products comply with legal requirements and company standards for food safety and identity prior to distribution. This includes conducting tests on ingredients, in-process samples, and finished products using Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products protocols. Any deviations from established specifications are promptly reported to the Manager.

Quality Assurance Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday)
  • Tests finished products to ensure chemical and microbiological compliance 
  • Performs a variety of chemical and physical analyses on incoming, in-process and finished product which include but are not limited to: Moisture, Salt, pH, and titratable acidity;
  • Collects and send out samples to third party or perform basic microbial plating, interpretation, enumeration, data entry, and trending on incoming, in-process, finished product, and shelf life retains;

Quality Assurance Qualifications:

  • Quality Assurant experience of minimum 1 year or equivalent experience required. 
  • Minimum of 1 year at previous positions. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the site’s HACCP/Food Safety Plan, pre-requisite programs and GMPs;
  • Exposure to hot or cold climate, chemical, noise and vibration, wet and humid conditions frequently.
  • Push - 100 lbs. occasionally (cart); Pull - 100 lbs. occasionally (cart); Lift/carry- 25 - 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • High school diploma/GED;
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
