Accounts Payable Assistant Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Assist the accounting team with AP functions
- Processing Accounts Payables in two different accounting systems
- Process a high volume of payables
- Run weekly check runs
- Accrue use tax on purchases
- Verify purchase orders
- Resolve POs & vendor statements
- Monthly sales tax reporting
- Backup receptionist & accounts receivable
Accounts Payable Assistant Qualifications:
- 5+ years prior accounts payable experience required
- Industrial or manufacturing accounting experience is helpful
- Must be proficient in accounting software
- Ability to work with a high volume of payables with accuracy
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
