Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Landcaping Part Time

Need some spending money for the summer? We are seeking a temporary Landscaper for part-time seasonal schedule of 3 days per week at $19.05/hr. These worksites are mostly in the Myrtle Creek area with occasional trips to Roseburg.

Landcaping Part Time Details:

Temporary position
$19.05 /hour
Part Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 08:30am to 12:00pm)

Mon-Fri 3 days per week, 3 hours per day 8:30am-11:30am or 12:00pm
Duties may include general landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and clean-up
Work is outdoors and physical in nature

Landcaping Part Time Qualifications:

Previous landscaping or outdoors work experience is required
Must be reliable and punctual
Able to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
