Purchasing Agent Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests for all projects.
- Creates, approves, and distributes purchase orders to vendors.
- Enters and maintains purchasing data within MRP system.
- Consults catalogs and interviews suppliers to obtain best prices and specifications.
- Types or writes invitation of bid forms and mails forms to supplier firms.
- Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories.
Purchasing Agent Qualifications:
- Three to five years related experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
