Forklift Driver (Temporary) Details:
Temporary position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
This position is temporary to begin, but could turn into long-term, full-time.
- Supply products and raw materials to production lines.
- Remove the finished product from the production lines and place in the proper storage area.
- Working with the Production Manager and line leads to ensure timely production of products by customer specification.
- Accurately complete production activity logs. Routinely check product to ensure accurate labeling, and general aesthetic; communicate and correct any nonconformance issues with help from involved team leaders and Production Manager.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Production Manager such as sorting bulk/seconds, assisting production, moving packing materials on racking, etc.
- Assist in shipping and receiving as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Forklift Driver (Temporary) Qualifications:
- Prolonged periods of sitting on forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. at times
- Strength and stamina: certain positions required production team members to routinely pick up and move heavy objects.
- At least 2 years related experience required.
- Forklift Certification required/maintained, provided by company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
