R&D Laboratory Technican Details:
Temporary position- $
28.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00pm to04:30pm )
The R&D Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing testing services for the Global Pet Care R&D Department directly supporting the Chews & Treats team.
This individual will:
- Conduct formula and digestibility testing to support the needs of new and existing global product development
- Lead and organize protocols for digestibility testing
- Perform supportive testing for 3rd party development
- Manage raw material and product inventory, and much more!
R&D Laboratory Technican Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with preference given to those with Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, Food Sciences, Fish & Wildlife Conservation or related science background
- 1-2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting required
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, equipment, and safety requirements
- High level of organizational, basic critical thinking, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
- Detail Oriented
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- PC Skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, etc.
