Wood Lab Technician/Sawyer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:30pm )
- Maintaining housekeeping
- Operating Table saw
- Radial arm saw
- Bandsaw and Planers and Cutting Lumber
- Prepare and test samples following experimental designs provided by responsible chemist
- Maintain a safe work area
- Assist lab personnel with testing as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, keeping lab equipment in good working order
- Assist in gluing projects as needed
- Set up testing using the Wood Lab TSR system
- Maintain neat notebooks and data records
Wood Lab Technician/Sawyer Qualifications:
- Prior lab experience required
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Requires competent computer skills using Microsoft office
- HS diploma or equivalent (GED) required, Two year degree preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
