Essential functions as a VMS Payroll and Billing Accountant:

• Provide accounting support to branches and clients who utilize a VMS tool for timekeeping, recording, and invoicing
• Upload timecards to VMS tools
• Process payroll for VMS accounts
• Perform payment reconciliations for VMS accounts
• Perform accounting reconciliations of VMS accounts
• Review VMS client aging's and resolve any discrepancies
• Be detail oriented and a problem solver
• Independent worker, but work well with a team environment
• Properly follow internal control guidelines
• Prepare special project analysis as requested
• Identify areas to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
• Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills & Experience for a VMS Payroll and Billing Accountant:

• Bachelors or associates degree in accounting
• Ability to work Monday -Friday
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and perform responsibilities given daily/weekly deadlines
• Solid personal computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel proficiently
• Able to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and written) to all levels, both internally and externally
