Description
SMT Operator
The SMT Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface-mount technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the SMT process.
1st and 2nd shift positions available.

SMT Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.50 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:00pm )
- Ahere to all ESD requirements
- Select the proper stencil screen for use during screen printing operation.
- Monitor the production line to ensure efficient operation and identify any issues or malfunctions.
- Inspect and verify quality of components and assemblies, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues on the production line.
- Load feeders for surface mount machines using the load list provided by machine.
- Ensure that all safety standards and procedures are followed.
- Document and report production data, machine performance, and any defects or issues.
- Assist in training new SMT operators and other team members when necessary.
- Monitors and adjusts equipment that’s used to create electronic circuits with SMT
SMT Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system.
- Pass IPC-DVE-64C Component Identification.
- Pass IPC-A-610 Modules: 1, 2, 4, 7 & 8.
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires good eyesight, hand and finger dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Previous experience with Circuit Boards is a must.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
